L.A.M.A./I.M.A. it is a club without borders. It has evolved as an "International Humanist Association". It accepts as members working people from all walks of life without discrimination based on nationality, race, color, religion, social class, gender, age, motorcycle brand, etc.
The mission of L.A.M.A./I.M.A. It is to promote Peace, Love, Harmony and non-Violence worldwide and in this way demonstrate through example that we can all live together in peace.
L.A.M.A./I.M.A. It is one of the most respected associations in the world. As a member of L.A.M.A. Doors will open in all cities with sister chapters / clubs. To meet L.A.M.A. It is necessary to know other chapters, especially chapters in other nations.
L.A.M.A./I.M.A. It is recognized as one of the most active long ride biker associations in the world. Our Ladies of LAMA, female member riders accompany us on their own motorcycles, traveling extreme distances. Most motorcyclists find these distances too long, or almost impossible to meet, yet our male and female members perform these runs or rides often. Women are a very important part of L.A.M.A. and they fulfill their functions just like men.
The statutes and regulations of L.A.M.A./I.M.A. they have been created, compiled, modified, and adapted through 44 years of experience. It is not the intention to carry around a dictionary of statutes and rules to spend a few hours of fun. Their existence, however, is good, they are very useful in times of difficulties or clarifying situations.
WELCOME TO L.A.M.A / I.M.A. YOU ARE NOW PART OF THE BEST RIDERS ASSOCIATION IN THE WORLD. WE CHALLENGE YOU TO HELP US IMPROVE IT.

LATIN AMERICAN MOTORCYCLE ASSOCIATION – POCONOS CHAPTER
The Latin American Motorcycle Association is a family-oriented association of bikers with a commitment to serving the
community, our veterans, local schools, law enforcement and other charities. L.A.M.A. Poconos has a Veterans
committee created to help disabled veterans in our local communities. We have a scholarship in honor of our first Lama
Youth Member, Jovan X. Caraballo, who passed away from Pediatric Cancer, that acknowledges and assists the
students in our community with their future goals. Our chapter has also participated yearly in charitable events in the
Poconos area such as, but not limited to, Mady’s Kitchen, The Oasis of Love, donating to Pediatric Cancer, The Angels
& Dragonflies Foundation and Feeding the First Responders during Covid-19 and thereafter. We also support our
community by participating yearly in the Veteran’s Day & St. Patty’s Day parades in the Downtown Stroudsburg area.
Being that we are family oriented, our children, Lama Youth Members, also participate in all Lama events and charitable
ones as well. During the holidays, we support families in our community by partnering with Angel & Dragonflies and
donating Christmas gifts to children in need.
We are also advocates for motorcycle safety awareness. Our riders are safety trained by the Road Guardians – Accident
Scene Management.
